Several months on, Bairi Piya is as vividly remembered & gravely missed by its many fans, for its unique concept, the cliffhanger episodes & mainly for the intense portrayal of the anti-hero by Sharad Kelkar juxtaposed against the credulous fortitude enacted by Supriya Kumari.
